More Potty Blogging

I've been thinking about this -- my youngest doesn't seem to be potty-training, but she's getting a bad diaper rash, I thought letting her air-out might help, so might cotton underpants. But I'm lazy and don't want to clean up the messes.

I'm thinking if she has an irritating diaper rash, she'll see it as an incentive to potty train. Especially since those wipes can sting! Yeah, I don't do rewards, but I'm all for passive-aggressive motivation.

I like considering diaper rash as motivation for potty training. I guess it might be considered bad parenting if I encourage such a rash to develop though... a little too active-aggressive...

True, true. I guess adding a bit of rubbing alcohol to the wipes to make it sting more is also over-the-line!

Seriously, I'd never do that. I have to say that the diaper rash is pretty bad and that my fave lotion, Triple Paste, seems ineffective. The chlorine in the swimming pool is probably not helping matters.
